Mr. Newton Muhury is a seasoned Hydrologist and research professional with deep expertise in Atmospheric Chemistry, Climatology, and Flood Risk Management. He holds a Master of Science (Research) in Atmospheric Chemistry and Climatology from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia, and a Bachelor of Science from Bangladesh Agricultural University.
With a strong foundation in remote sensing, GIS, and hydrodynamic modelling, Mr. Muhury has made significant contributions in the fields of floodplain hydraulic modelling, disaster resilience, and water resource management. His specialization includes analyzing satellite imagery such as Sentinel, Landsat, and SAR to monitor flood dynamics and enhance the accuracy of floodplain models. He is highly proficient in tools and technologies like HEC-RAS, MIKE, SWAT, ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth Engine, Python, and R.
Mr. Muhury is particularly passionate about leveraging machine learning and climate impact assessment methodologies to support sustainable and science-driven solutions to hydrological challenges. His work is instrumental in driving innovation and resilience in flood-prone regions.

Mr. Chandan Barua is an accomplished Technical Analyst currently serving at the Australian Government Department of Finance in Canberra, ACT. With over 14 years of professional experience in administration, business management, and program and project support, Mr. Barua brings a strategic and solutions-focused mindset to his work in public sector governance and digital transformation.
He holds a Certificate IV in Cyber Security from the Canberra Institute of Technology, a Master’s in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (Honours)—with concentrations in Programming, Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics—from the University of Madras.
